We were Ravers once… and young
The site was built as a reminder of a time when all we cared about was going to that next rave, finding that next banging tune and grabbing that new tape pack.
Me (Shane, the ginger on the right) and my mate Pete (Left) have been into the rave scene since it exploded just as we left high school in England in the early 90’s, we bought every tape pack we could and hunted down the latest vinyl, always looking for that next banger to drop on the deck. We both love mixing and have been obsessed with these sounds for over 30 years.
I’ll never forget the first time I heard a live rave set, it blew my mind, the drums, the spine tingling synths and vocals, the crowd, the whistles and horns. Life changing, I’ve been obsessed ever since.
